1. Scope
This Privacy Policy applies to Syndicate 32 websites, membership and waitlist services, account features, private community, betting-intelligence tools, communications, and related services that link to this policy (collectively, the “Services”). “Syndicate 32,” “we,” “us,” and “our” refer to the operator of the Services.
This policy does not apply to third-party sportsbooks, data providers, payment processors, websites, or services that maintain their own privacy policies.
2. Information we collect
Information you provide
- Waitlist and account information: email address, display name, email-verification status, and account preferences.
- Community information: posts, replies, reactions, display-name color, profile details, and other content you submit.
- Support and communications: messages you send us, survey responses, and records of your communication preferences.
- Transaction information: if paid membership becomes available, plan, purchase, renewal, cancellation, and limited payment-related details. Full payment-card details will ordinarily be handled by our payment processor, not stored by us.
Information collected automatically
- IP address, browser and device type, operating system, referring page, pages viewed, approximate location derived from IP address, timestamps, and diagnostic logs.
- Account-session and security events, including login or verification attempts and identifiers used to maintain an authenticated session.
- Usage information such as features selected, searches, team and week views, terminal commands, and interactions with matchup intelligence.
Information from other sources
We may receive information from service providers, analytics providers, payment processors, public sources, and data partners. If you access a third-party service through Syndicate 32, that service may provide information consistent with your settings and its privacy policy.
3. How we use information
We use information to:
- operate the waitlist, verify email addresses, create and secure accounts, and deliver the Services;
- provide matchup analysis, community features, personalization, support, and service communications;
- process membership payments and manage renewals, cancellations, and access;
- understand performance and usage, develop new features, and improve our data models and user experience;
- detect fraud, abuse, unauthorized scraping, security incidents, and violations of our Terms of Service;
- comply with law, enforce our agreements, protect rights and safety, and resolve disputes; and
- send product or marketing communications where permitted by law. You can unsubscribe from marketing emails at any time.
Where applicable law requires a legal basis, we rely on performance of our contract, our legitimate interests, compliance with legal obligations, and consent as appropriate.
5. Community content and cosmetic aliases
The community is intended for a private membership, but information shared with other members should not be treated as confidential. Other members may copy or disclose content despite our rules. Do not post personal, financial, credential, or other sensitive information.
Authorized administrators may post using clearly internal cosmetic or “house” aliases for moderation, demonstrations, seeding discussion, or product operations. These aliases are not independent member accounts. The primary administrator identity may carry a visual administrator indicator.
7. Retention and security
We retain personal information only as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this policy, including providing the Services, maintaining account and transaction records, resolving disputes, preventing fraud, and satisfying legal obligations. Retention depends on the type of information and the reason we hold it. We may retain backups for a limited period and de-identified information indefinitely.
We use administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect information. No transmission or storage system is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. Protect your email account and promptly tell us if you believe your Syndicate 32 account or login link has been compromised.
8. Your choices and privacy rights
You may unsubscribe from marketing email using the link in the message. Operational messages such as verification, billing, security, or policy notices may still be sent while your account remains active. Where account controls are available, you may update certain profile and community preferences there.
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to request access to, correction of, or deletion of personal information; receive a portable copy; opt out of certain sales, sharing, targeted advertising, or profiling; and limit certain uses of sensitive information. You may also have the right not to receive discriminatory treatment for exercising a privacy right.
To submit a request, email ericsidewater@gmail.com with “Privacy Request” in the subject line and describe your request. We may verify your identity and authority before responding. Authorized agents may submit requests where allowed by law. You may appeal a denied request by replying with “Privacy Appeal.”
We will respond within the period required by applicable law. We may retain limited information needed to document and honor a request.
9. Age restriction
The Services are intended only for adults age 21 or older and are not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 21. If you believe a person under 21 has provided information to us, contact us so we can investigate and delete it as appropriate.
10. Changes and contact
We may update this policy to reflect changes in the Services, law, or our practices. We will post the revised policy with a new “Last updated” date and provide additional notice when required.
